We will all have been shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic earthquake in Haiti in January. The pictures of survivors in the news are heartbreaking. At times like these, people naturally begin to question what role God played in these events, and what our response should be. This specially-written Mettle session aims to help your young people think over these questions and to lead them to do something practical to help the survivors.

In this session, we are aiming to study the following: • Some different possible explanations why natural disasters happen • How it might feel to be a victim of an earthquake • What God is doing in Haiti now, and how He wants us to respond to the tragedy
