Obedience is not fashionable. Our culture urges us to do what we want; to insist on our rights, make ourselves comfortable and ignore anyone who tells us to do things their way. The idea of obeying someone else – not just listening to that person, but constantly obeying them – can seem strange to people around us. But this is Jesus’ way.
