Everyone is shocked by the sheer amount of devastation that the earthquake in Haiti has caused. It can often be hard to see where God is in these situations. This session looks at how as Christians we should react to natural disasters and where God is in such these types of situations, especially Haiti.

Meeting aims:
Aim to teach: That even though we don’t always know why bad things happen, God still cares and wants to get involved. Aim that the group should: Recognize something of their responsibility to help following disasters – even if it seems such a small contribution.

Other resources needed:
Normal refreshments, broken and damp biscuits, dirty water. Buckaroo games, Printed Notices, Newspapers, Two Buckets, Script, Dice, Tape, Printed bible verses, A computer, Video projector, Tee-light candles, Paper, Pens
